Yesterday I made homemade oatmeal cookies.  They were so yummy, and the perfect comfort food for a cool fall evening.  I used the Joy of Cooking recipe.

Oatmeal Cookies: Easy recipe, the perfect oatmeal recipe, option to add in raisins or chocolate chips.

After dinner, my husband and our two little girls went for a walk in the forest behind our house to collect some fall leaves.  After the walk we sat on the deck, and admired the forest as we sipped warm tea and ate cookies.  The perfect fall evening.

Instagram post 2191863524343348609_202589158 I had fun adding some pink to my Christmas decor for my “Merry and Bright” Party. This spot looked so great it inspired me to use some more colour in the basement this year. Can’t wait to share. 🎄🎅🏻 This printable artwork is available in our Etsy shop as a digital download.
Instagram post 2190815922428543077_202589158 There’s just something about a vintage Santa. 🎅🏻✨✨That’s magical. ✨✨
Instagram post 2189708657151563933_202589158 It’s the first day of December and I’m already all about that warm candle lit glow. Here’s to many many evenings spent around twinkle lights, warm fires, and candle lit dinner tables. 🕯
Instagram post 2188219954386272747_202589158 It’s almost time for advent calendars. When my kids were younger it was a way for me as a busy mom during the holidays to be purposeful about spending quality time with my girls. I didn’t want my kids to grow up thinking Christmas was just about presents. I wanted to be purposeful about making special Christmas memories with my kids. I’ve created over 60 different activity cards in three different designs. They’re for sale in our Etsy shop. Head to Etsy and search “lifeisapartyshop”. Everything is 50% off now until Monday-enjoy the memory making. ;) 🎅🏻🎄
