Simply Beautiful

It’ always amazing how something as simple as a few white flowers, and some simple candle light can be so beautiful.  The other night we had friends coming for dinner and I wanted to set a simple, beautiful white table.  I started with a plain white linen runner on our dark dinning room table.  Then I layered on simple round glass vases filled with a few fresh white roses snipped from my garden, floating in the water.

I alternated the three vases, with some round glass tea light holders down the centre of the table.

I set the table with my everyday white dishes, cutlery, and pretty glass tumblers.  I used a damask silver and white napkin, and layered it with a polished metal “rock”.  I loved the way the silver, white, and glass sparkled in the candle light.

So simple, so beautiful.
