I had a lovely time at the One Of A Kind Show -in Toronto over the weekend, and and thought I’d share a few of my fav.’s from the show to add a splash of colour for Spring.
It was definitely hard to choose, there were so many beautiful things and lovely artists there. These ones all ship, so even if you didn’t make it to the show, you can order their beautiful wares on-line (click on their name or the pictures for their shops) and enjoy a little hit of spring colour!
I thought these hair accessories were so sweet from Hair Lovelies. A little bird, or butterfly, or flower tucked in your hair sure says spring to me.
I also thought the purses from meter by metre were so beautiful. This pink clutch was my fav, love the fabric, and the liner was lime green.
I loved, loved, loved the new etsy section at the sale, and several of my favourites there. One of them was these great leather feather jewellery pieces from Love At First Blush. Love all the great colours for spring, and the touch of gold, so on trend.
Another trend I noticed at the show this year, was the emergence of more and more menswear. My favourite were these awesome hand made ties and bowties from Handsome and Lace. The colours were amazing, and the artist Keira uses lots of fun vintage fabrics. We got chatting about how great these would be for a wedding, and she shared that she can even add custom embroidery to the inside of ties with things like your wedding date, or a secret message. Loved them.
Along with all these great finds to give your look a hit of spring, I also found lots of great accessories to bring a little spring into your home.
I really liked these beautiful clocks, and all the lovely colours they came in, from Kailey Hawthorn and her shop HAWThome. Beautiful.
I also feel hard for these fun paint chip inspired table runners and placemats, in lots of fun Spring-y colours. They’re from Avril Loreti Modern Home.
One last favourite from the show, these beautiful prints from carococo.
I loved the colours, loved the images, bird on a bicycle, hello! and loved that they were also available in French, since the artist is from Quebec.
I had a great time virtually shopping the show, hope you enjoy some of my favourite picks too.
With beautiful one of a kind, handmade lovely things like these, life really is a party!
