Coconut Hot Chocolate
Hot Chocolate with Coconut Milk: it’s easy to make and so delicious, perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions, or vegatarian.
Why Coconut?
I thought this hot chocolate with coconut milk would be a delicious treat. I wanted to make a little something special for my Valentine. My husband is originally from Guyana and a big fan of all things coconut. With this snowy, snowy weather I was inspired to make him some coconu hot chocolate.
Also, coconut milk is a great choice for any one with dietary restrictions around dairy.

Make your mashmallow extra special by using a heart shapped mini cookie cutter to cut a heart in the middle.

Next I added a shot of Baileys. It is completely optional, but it certainly was yummy! It’s perfect for a little grown-up treat, but it’s also delicious without the Baileys.
Toppings
Lastly I topped off the coconut hot chocolate with some whipped cream, and a home made Bailey’s marshmallow -with a little heart cut out for my lovey.
In addition, you can find the Bailey’s Marshmallows Recipe here. Or, just use a regular marshmallow, and cut out a heart from it with a mini cookie cutter like I did.
In the end with homemade coconut hot chocolate for your sweetie, life really is a party!
