Halloween is coming very soon, and this year I have the cutest idea for you, or any fairy loving children you might live with -Pumpkin Fairy House Jack-O-Lanterns.
They really could not be any sweeter. And, I think I’ve seen a few fairies fluttering in and out of them tonight too, so they’re a hit all round.
We started out with an assortment of pumpkins; some big some small, some orange, some white, some in-between.
We carved windows, and doors, and window sills, and dormers, and stairs -in every combination we could think of.
We used some little twigs to make our windows, then we used some little cloves as door knobs on some of the front doors.
Some doorways got little sets of stairs and open doors, others received little ladders made of twigs and the glue gun.
Once we had everything carved, we had fun with some fairy sized accessories. We found the sweetest little straw bales at the craft store, and my daughter Maddie made fairy sized pumpkins out of polymer clay.
The little brooms are from the craft store too, and we even found a fairy sized bike.
We had fun setting up the little village.
We added a little fence, and enough ladders to get the fairies from one level to the other…or of course they could fly. 😉
It looked adorable and I thought it really couldn’t get any better, until…
it got dark out!
With Pumpkin Fairy House Jack-O-Lanterns, life really is a party!
