Little Girl Bedroom Makeover
Little Girl Bedroom Makeover: Inspiration for a pretty, pink, with a touch of vintage little girls bedroom.

My youngest daughter Maddie is 8 years old, and this year on the top of her Christmas list was new bedding, and a closet organizer. I said to my husband “what kid wants a closet organizer for Christmas?” and then the funny thing was that I actually remembered asking for one when I was a kid, lol. I guess she comes by it naturally. So today we sharing our girls bedroom makeover with you.
After Christmas we did a little room organizing and a mini girls bedroom makeover and I thought you might like to see how it turned out.
New Bedding
Let’s start with her pretty new bedding. She decided she wanted to go for a vintage look in her room, and I love how pretty her bed looks, with her new pink and rosebud bedding.
As soon as she took down her Christmas decorations, she started putting up some sweet Valentine’s Day ones, including these pretty heart lights.
Lighting
And that’s not the only pretty lighting in the room. Her vintage chandelier that I did a makeover on a few years ago is still a favourite of mine.
Girls Bedroom Makeover Shelfie
Above her bed is a sweet little pink shelf with a few vintage inspired pieces, and a pretty baby picture.
This little kitty and doggie in a teacup was mine when I was a little girl, a gift from a favourite uncle many years ago.
Nightstand
Beside her bed is her nightstand, with a few pretty flowers.
Maddie loves scented candles, but it’s just for smelling in here, not for burning.
Dresser
Across the room is Maddie’s dresser. it was bought at an auction for her nursery, and we painted it white.
On top of her dresser, a few paper roses I bought for her when she was a baby. I love her little watercolour art in the background.
Madeline loves jewelry, I love these pretty vintage little boxes, and a sweet teacup to hold some of her treasures.
Desk and Bookcase
Maddie also loves art. She has a little vintage desk set-up in her room for her projects, and some supplies on her book case.
I made her a little heart bunting for Valentine’s Day with some scrapbook hearts, and some book page hearts that have been watercolored.
Girls Bedroom Gallery Wall
And between her dresser and bookcase is a rocking chair for reading and her gallery wall.
We mixed in a few old favourites with some vintage finds, and the embroidered arrow art from last Valentine’s Day.
Maddie LOVES her room now. And I feel like it really suits her.
With a pretty girls bedroom makeover, life really is a party!

Hi Danyelle
Maddy’s room is just beautiful – pretty yet functional. She is going to be just like you when she grows up. The closet organiser made me smile because when I was little I loved to file things and I remember asking for boxes and papers so I could make a filing cabinet!
Oh that’s so sweet Julie, happy filing. 😉
