To make the mummy cookies, start by melting some white chocolate wafers in the microwave in 20 second intervals. Add the melted chocolate to a ziplock bag and cut a very small corner off the bag to make a pipping bag. Pipe the melted chocolate in lines across the graham cracker, and while the chocolate is still melted, add two candy eyes. Let the chocolate set before adding the cookies to your smore board.
For the witch hat cookies, use a round chocolate covered cookie as your base. Melt some Hersey's kisses and use it as the glue to add a Hershey's Kiss to the center of the round cookie to make the witch's hat. Use enough chocolate so that it seeps out under the Kiss, and add Halloween sprinkles while the chocolate is still melted. Let the cookie set before adding it to your smore board.
For the spider cookies, prepare your ready-to-bake cookie dough -or your favourite homemade recipe and bake in the oven. While the cookies are still warm, add a chocolate disk on top in the center. The heat from the cookie will melt the chocolate. When it's melted, add two candy eyes. Melt additional chocolate in the microwave in short intervals, and then add to a ziplock bag. Cut a small corner of the bag off and use it as a piping bag to add 8 spider legs to the cookies, 4 on each side. Once the chocolate is set, add the cookies to the smore board.
For the ghost marshmallows, use an edible food marker to add black eyes and a mouth to the side of a regular marshmallow.
To assemble the Halloween smores board, start by adding a bowl of the dulce de leche and pistachio cream. Then add in your different marshmallows. Next, add the cookies. Be sure to add some undecorated cookies to use as the base of the smores. Lastly, fill in with all the candy and chocolate options.
To make a smore, roast your marshmallow or Halloween peep over a fire until golden, then sandwich between two cookies, adding a layer of chocolate, or any other candy or spreads.
Notes
Tip: Be sure to leave some of your cookies un-decorated to use as the bottoms of the smores.
