Combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Cut your bread into 1-inch piece cubes. Add in 7 cups of bread cubes to the pumpkin mixture, and stir gently to combine without breaking up the bread cubes.
Pour the mixture into an 8 x 8 greased baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve the bread pudding warm with a warm custard sauce.
