Tea Cucumber Sandwiches
These tea cucumber sandwiches are the quintessential tea party sandwich. Simple, elegant and ready in minutes with cream cheese, butter and Miracle Whip on soft white bread.

Ingredients

slices
white bread
2
tablespoons
butter
softened
4
tablespoons
cream cheese
softened

teaspoons
Miracle Whip
1
English cucumber
sliced 2-3 mm thick
Instructions
Spread a thin even layer of softened butter on 4 slices of bread.
Spread a generous layer of softened cream cheese on the remaining 4 slices.
Spread Miracle Whip over the buttered slices.
Slice the cucumber to 2 to 3mm thick. Layer over the cream cheese.
Place the Miracle Whip and butter slices on top of the cucumber and press gently. Remove crusts with a sharp serrated knife.
Cut each sandwich into 3 equal rectangular fingers. Arrange cut side out on a platter and serve immediately.

Make these the morning of your party not the day before.
Cover assembled sandwiches tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to a few hours before serving.
Make sure your cream cheese and butter are fully softened before you start, cold ingredients tear the bread.
