Christmas Candy Garland: Use real candy and create this simple and sweet candy garland for your Christmas decor.
It’s November 1st, Halloween is finally over, and now we can get onto my favourite time of year, Christmas! I love everything about it, the food, the decorations, the music, the sparkles, the movies, the shopping, the gifts, the true meaning, -everything! I am helping to host a women’s event this Friday night at my church, on Christmas preparations. The decor is red, white, and green, with a Christmas candy theme. A fun project I wanted to make for the Christmas tree is this candy garland.
- individually wrapped peppermint candies in red and green
- hot glue gun
I found round, individually wrapped peppermint candies at the dollar store, and bought 3 bags.
I used my glue gun to glue the wrappers end to end, alternating green and red, to make a long candy garland. Just be careful not to bun your fingers as you work.
I think the final result is really “sweet”, and can’t wait to see it on the candy themed Christmas tree!
Cost: I already had the glue gun and glue, I used 3 bags of $1 candy, so total cost = $3
With DIY Christmas Candy Garland, life really is a party.
