My dear friend Connie celebrated her 30th birthday on the weekend. We had a lovely dinner party, and finished off with this beautiful dessert table.
My friend Heather made beautiful chocolate chip cupcakes with vanilla butter cream. They were so good. The backdrop of the table was made by stringing up some ruffles. I love command hooks, they make it so easy to add party decor, and remove it latter without marking the walls. I also cut out the “30” and decoupaged it with paper doilies, and a little glitter.

I love serving individual portions.
I had these sweet little tea cups, with pretty purplish flowers, and thought they’d be lovely to hold simple donut holes.
I also served some jelly donut holes on these cute Asian spoons, with a sweet toothpick and ribbon flag added.
I made vanilla cake pops, and added a ribbon detail for a little more purple.
We also made shortbread cookies, and tied them into little bundles with purple baker’s twine.
I also served some candy, in my pretty vintage milk glass candy bowls.
With a dessert table like this one, life really is a party!

Woooo! Your friend is a lucky girl. You went to a lot of work for such a beautiful presention and yummy treats. I have a major sweet tooth and having trouble sitting here and not rushing to the pantry.
