It’ November 1st, Halloween is finally over, and now we can get onto my favourite time of year, Christmas! I love everything about it, the food, the decorations, the music, the sparkle, the movies, the shopping, the gifts, the true meaning,…everything! I am helping to host a women’s event this Friday night at my church, on Christmas preparations. The decor is red, white, and green, with a Christmas candy theme. A fun project I wanted to make for the Christmas tree is this candy garland.
I found round, individually wrapped peppermint candies at the dollar store, and bought 3 bags.
I used my glue gun to glue the wrappers end to end, alternating green and red, to make a long candy garland.
I think the final result is really “sweetâ€, and can’t wait to see it on the Christmas tree!
Cost:
I already had the glue gun and glue, I used 3 bags of $1 candy, so total cost = $3
Watch for more fun “Christmas candy†projects this week.

Thank you for this idea! I have a ginormous bag of mints and have been trying to think of ways to use them up.

Such a cute idea!
Love this idea! I am thinking of using red cinnamon candies and butterscotchs. Maybe 3 red and one gold. My imagination is soaring!
