Today I’m sharing a pretty St. Patrick’s Day table that I worked on with my friend Jeanna from Folklore Creative. She makes the most beautiful tables, and we thought it’d be fun to combine our talents today with a special St. Patrick’s Day table.
I started out with the fun centre piece. I used a pretty branch, and hung some pretty mini candles and little glass bottles of flowers from it.
I found the pretty green candles at the dollar store, and used some 18 gauge gold wire to create a little handle to hang them from. Of course be sure to make your handles long enough so that you can safely light them without catching your branch on fire.
I also found some mini glass bottles, that I used the wire to create a hanging vase, and added some pretty baby’s breath.
In order to hang the vases and candles on the branch, I used some stones to weigh it down. I also included some pretty faux moss stones from the dollar store. Moss always makes me think of Ireland.
I love how pretty the flowers and candles look hanging on the branch, and it was simple and inexpensive to create…checking all my boxes.
I also used the faux moss stones to create some place card holders.
I used the same wire, and shaped it around a wooden dowel to create the circle to hold the paper. The faux moss stones are styrofoam, so I made a small hole with a toothpick and then inserted the wire. I cut the shamrocks out of some book paper and added the guests initials with a green marker. Simple and cute.
For the place settings I used some dollar store square plates, simple wine glasses, and pretty gold cutlery. I loved the gold details, and they made me think of the “pot of gold”. The green napkins are some I’ve had for years, and perfect for St. Patty’s Day.
Jeanna and I had a lot of fun putting this altogether. With a pretty St. Patrick’s Day table like this, life really is a party!
