S'mores Pizza takes everything you love about the classic campfire treat and turns it into a shareable dessert pizza loaded with Nutella, toasted marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbles. We made ours in an outdoor pizza oven, but a regular oven works just as well, so this one's doable no matter what kind of kitchen you're working with.

Why You'll Love This Recipe
- It's a fun twist on a classic campfire treat, without needing an actual campfire.
- You can make it in a pizza oven or a regular oven, so it works for backyard entertaining or a weeknight at home.
- It comes together in about 20 minutes with just 4 ingredients.
- It's endlessly customizable with fruit, nuts, or different kinds of chocolate.
- It's a guaranteed hit with both kids and adults at any summer gathering.
For our backyard pizza party, I wanted to include a dessert pizza alongside all the savory ones, and since it was the middle of summer, s'mores felt like the obvious direction. We used our outdoor pizza oven for this one, and it toasted the marshmallows better than any campfire ever has, but I'll walk you through the regular oven version too, since not everyone has a pizza oven in the backyard.
If you love this s'mores pizza, you'll probably also love our s'mores trail mix for something you can throw together in five minutes, or our s'mores charcuterie board if you're hosting a bigger group and want a whole spread to graze on.
Ingredients
Exact measurements in the recipe card below.

- Pre-made Pizza Dough: store bought works great here, or make your favorite homemade version.
- Nutella Hazelnut Spread: works really well as it spreads beautifully and is a crowd favorite, or use a good chocolate sauce, ganache, or melted chocolate chips if you're not a Nutella fan.
- Mini Marshmallows: they melt faster and spread more evenly than large ones.
- Graham Cracker Pieces: broken up pieces add the perfect crunch and classic s'more flavor.
Variations
Want to switch things up? Try adding sliced strawberries or bananas, toasted coconut, or slivered almonds for some texture and a fruity twist. A drizzle of peanut butter is also delicious with the chocolate and marshmallow, and if you're a dark chocolate fan, swap in dark chocolate chips instead of Nutella.
No pizza dough on hand? Naan bread or flatbread makes a great shortcut base if you want to skip the rolling altogether. It won't have quite the same pizza feel, but it's just as tasty and comes together even faster, which is a nice option for a weeknight version of this same treat.
How to Make S'mores Pizza

- Step 1: Flour your work surface and stretch or roll your pizza dough into a large round shape. If you're using a pizza oven, slide the dough onto your peel and into the oven at around 400 degrees. If you're using a regular oven, preheat it to 400 degrees and place the dough on a pizza pan or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the crust until it's just turning golden, about 8 to 10 minutes in a regular oven, or a couple of minutes in a hot pizza oven. Don't let over cook it, since it's going back in later.

- Step 2: Remove the crust and spread a layer of Nutella over the top while it's still hot. The heat makes it easy to spread.

- Step 3: Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the Nutella. Return the pizza to the oven for a few minutes to toast the marshmallows, or switch your regular oven to broil for 1 to 2 minutes. Marshmallows go from perfectly toasted to burnt fast under a broiler, so stay close and watch the whole time.

- Step 4: Sprinkle crumbled graham crackers over the top, slice with a pizza cutter, and serve warm.

Expert Tip: Prebaking the crust on its own before adding any toppings is the step that makes this recipe work. Since Nutella and marshmallows won't hold up to a long bake time, this two stage method gives you a crust that's cooked through without turning your toppings into a burnt mess.
Storage
This s'mores pizza is really at its best served warm, right after the marshmallows come out of the oven. If you do have leftovers, store them covered at room temperature for up to a day. It won't reheat quite like fresh, since the marshmallows firm up, but a quick minute back in a warm oven will loosen things up again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, a regular oven works well. Just preheat to 400 degrees, bake the crust until golden, then add your toppings and finish under the broiler for a minute or two, watching closely so the marshmallows don't burn.
Baking the crust on its own first means you can fully cook the crust without burning the toppings, since those toppings only need a couple of minutes to warm through and toast.
A good chocolate sauce, ganache, or even melted chocolate chips or your favorite chocolate bar work well in its place.
