Upstairs Cozy Christmas Tour
Upstairs Cozy Christmas Home Tour: our cozy home office, and master bedroom all dressed up for Christmas at home.

It’s a snowy day here, and definitely feeling very Christmas-y, as the kids count down the last days of school before Christmas vacation, and my thoughts turn to Christmas baking and wrapping. Today I’m sharing the final instalment of my cozy Christmas home tour, see the main floor here, and the basement here. Today we’re upstairs, for a peek in my new office/craft room and our master bedroom. So grab a coffee and come on up.
Upstairs Hallway
This is up at the top of the stairs, and the beginning of my large star mobile. This is also the home of our Storybook Advent Calendar, which we’ve all been loving. We get in our jammies each night and all squish into our bed and enjoy a bedtime story together. I highly recommend it to anyone for next year.
Cozy Christmas Home Office
You might remember that a few weeks ago now, for my birthday, my family surprised me by giving me what used to be my husband’s study to use as my new office/craft room, while I was out of town. You can read all about my big surprise here. I’ve added a few more fun vintage Christmas details to the room. I think the wreath pillow looks so pretty here, you can find the tutorial on how I made it here.
Beside the chair are a few of my vintage finds in the last little while. The deer and snowman were thrift store finds, and the wee little Santa mug is from an antique fair. Since I didn’t go with the vintage theme this year on the main floor, my little study has become the perfect place to display a few of my favourites.
Speaking of favourites, I think my pink vintage ornament wreath fits in perfectly here….I may not want to pack it away after Christmas.
On the other side of the small room, is my desk with a few other Christmas accessories added to the mix.
On the bookcase, just a few more new finds. I love the old truck, and filled it with glass ornaments, and a cute little nativity snow globe. Both picked up on my recent weekend away. I love my little study and it’s been fun to add lots of favourite vintage Christmas treasures to it.
Cozy Christmas Master Bedroom
Now into our Master Bedroom, all dressed up for Christmas. I actually don’t really like red, although my husband loves it. So, I’ve never, ever used red in my Christmas decor before, but this year, I thought this room with it’s traditional furniture could really use a pop of red, and I have to say I love how it turned out.
I scoured the house for red, and bought a few little accessories too.
I love the red pillows on the bed, and you’ll recognize my easy Sharpie Reindeer Pillow, from last weeks post on how to make it. It worked great to tie the red and brown in the room together.
A few ornaments in a bowl are always an easy way to add a pop of colour.
On my side of the bed, an amazing thrift store find, a pretty vintage white bottle brush tree with red ornaments.
And over on the other side of the room, I added my daughters wooden sleigh, from her first Christmas, piled with gifts.
I love how Christmas-y it is!
And, a pretty feather-like tree.
Thanks so much for stopping by for the tour. Wishing you a lovely weekend, filled with holiday cheer!
With a cozy bedroom on these cold winter days and nights, life really is a party!
