The Pie Party
The Pie Party: pies, pie pops, pie fruit dip, pie toppings and beautiful decor make the perfect outdoor fall pie party for family and friends.
I’m so excited to share with you this fun Pie Party, that I put together for my family and friends. It’s the perfect idea for the holidays. I love to entertain, and with Marie Callender’s® Dessert Pies and Reddi-wip® it really is easy and fun, and comes together in a flash.
For my Pie Party, first I went to Walmart and picked up all the amazing Marie Callender’s® Dessert Pies and Reddi-wip®. They really had a great selection of everything I needed, and I love one stop shopping, especially during the busy holidays.
Once we got home, it was time to bake my pies. I love the convenience of the frozen pies, with the fresh baked taste of baking them at home. The house smelt amazing!
Apple Pie Cheese Cake Fruit Dip
Once my pies were ready and cooled, it was time to get creative. I knew I wanted to serve several of the pies for my guests with some fun toppings. I also thought it would be nice to include some fresh fruit for the party, and came up with a fun Apple Pie Cheese Cake Fruit Dip.
Apple Pie Cheesecake Dip
Ingredients
- Dutch Apple Pie (1/4 pie)
- 8 0z. container Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Sliced Apples
Instructions
- Combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in a mixer until smooth and fully combined.
- Use 1/4 of a baked Dutch Apple Pie, and chop into large pieces, then add to the cheese cake dip and stir to combine.
- Serve dip in a bowl, with sliced apples for dipping.
- Best served right away, while the pie crust bites are still crispy.
Pie Pops
Next I also wanted to combine two pies for some delicious pie pops. I began with a Pecan Pie and a Pumpkin Pie to make my Pumpkin Pecan Pie Pops.
To make the Pumpkin Pecan Pie Pops, I baked a pumpkin pie and let it cool, and de-frosted the pecan pie, according to the directions.
Then I used the push pop as a cutter to cut a circle of pumpkin pie for the bottom and pecan pie for the top. Lastly, I layered the pies in the push pop, using Reddi-wip in the middle, and as a topping.
The little flag is made from some washi tape and a toothpick. The Pumpkin Pecan Pie Pops were delicious, easy and a real hit with the kids, and the combination of pumpkin, pecans, and Reddi-wip was perfection.
Backyard Pie Buffet
Next I set up our Pie Party outside on our back patio, to take advantage of the last of the colourful fall leaves. We started out with a beautiful table, and used a plaid blanket as a table-cloth.
Before the party I made an easy bunting that said “PIE”, and some tissue paper tassels, out of plaid, copper, and gold tissue paper. We hung them up behind the table for some easy decor.
They looked so pretty in the breeze.
After that I set up the rest of the table. I used pretty matching napkins, and wooden cutlery so there would be no dishes afterward. A sweet pumpkin made the perfect paper weight to ensure our napkins didn’t blow away.
Drinks
Next we served our guests warm apple cider to drink, perfect for a crisp fall day, and it stayed nice and warm in a large thermos.
Pie Time
The main attraction was, of course, the pie!
I served Pumpkin Pecan Streusel, Razzleberry, Cherry Crunch, Lattice Apple, and Dutch Apple pie. It was all so, so yummy.
I used a combination of wooden stands as serving pieces, and a few pretty metallic buntings in the pies.
It would be hard to choose a favourite.
But…if I had to choose a favourite, the Cherry Crunch would be mine.
Pie Topping Buffet
A fun addition to the pies was a little topping buffet.
Guests could add chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, nuts, sprinkles, and Reddi-wip to their pie in whatever combination their heart desired. This was a big hit with everyone.
We had so much fun eating pie, and pie, and more pie! We didn’t want the fun to end. So, lastly we sent all the families home with their very own pie, to #ShareTheJoyOfPie
We wrapped up our pies with a little kraft paper and this fun printable –download it for free by clicking here.

We really had a great time together, and our friends loved the take-home pies.
With pie for friends and family, life really is a party.
