Maple Syrup Taffy

Maple Syrup Taffy: Easy fun recipe, your kids will LOVE as a snowy day treat.

There is still lots of snow here. I’m dreaming of spring bulbs, Pastel colours and Easter eggs, just like every other blogger, but when I look out on the back garden all I see is snow! So, in the spirit of making life a party, we’re embracing the snow and using it to make delicious maple syrup taffy. It’s really a simple process, all you need is a candy thermometer. And, I guarantee your kids will love it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Maple Syrup Taffy

  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup (This amount of syrup boiled down to make about six sticks of taffy, make more if you like.)
  • a candy thermometer
  • popsicle sticks
  • fresh, clean snow

Boil the syrup until it reaches 235 degrees on the thermometer.
