This daisy themed party is full of cute daisy details, from a beautiful table setting and simple DIY daisy decorations to delicious daisy themed foods and desserts. We love this cheery theme, perfect for a daisy themed birthday party, shower, picnic or summer party.

Why We Love This Party
- Daisies are a theme that is perfect for kids or adults.
- The easy color scheme of yellow and white is so pretty
- We had so much fun with the daisy themed foods, and they were delicious.
- We added simple DIY details that really tied the party together like using actual daisies, and adding daisy ribbon and diasy tulle canapy.
As someone who plans and photographs seasonal themed parties year-round, I loved how simple and impactful this daisy theme turned out.

We love a cute themed party. We've had so much fun creating a strawberry themed picnic party, a cherry themed party, a mushroom themed party, and a butterfly themed party. And this party is the most perfect summer daisy themed party.
Daisy Decorations
Daisy Canopy
We kept the decorations on theme, but quite simple. The whole party was inspired by the daisy tulle I found at a thrift store for $2. It was a nice, large piece that I thought would be so perfect for a daisy party. I had it in my stash for months, and when the daisies started blooming in my garden and the wild, I knew it was time to create the daisy party I'd been dreaming of.

I wasn't sure whether to use the daisy tulle as a tablecloth or a canopy, but since we were outside, I decided to string it up as a canopy in the tree branches over our picnic table using some string, and it turned out so charming!
If you wanted to create a similar look, you could look for daisy tulle in a fabric store or on-line.
Tablescape
For the table we used a yellow striped tablecloth, and simple white dishes. I thought my everyday white scalloped edge dishes were perfect, since the scallop kind of reminded me of daisy petals.

And instead of investing in daisy cups to tie in with our daisy theme, I found some inexpensive daisy ribbon, paired with a couple of different widths and shades of yellow ribbon, and tied them onto these plain glass to dress them up perfectly on theme.

The stars of the show were the simple daisy flower arrangements and the daisy cake, but more on that later. I used small mason jars as vases, and then used Shasta daisies and feverfew from my garden, along with a few different kinds of wild daisies I picked.

I really love that with just a very few simple daisy details, and without buying a whole bunch of daisy themed party supplies, we were able to use our everyday dishes and the table came together so beautifully.
Daisy Food Ideas
I wanted the menu for the party to be filled with daisy themed foods. And I had so much fun coming up with some delicious daisy inspired items.

Daisy Deviled Eggs
I wanted to try and make some daisy deviled eggs. They were fun to make and turned out so cute!

To make the eggs into flower shapes I started by boiling them for 10 min, and then removing the shells. While they were still warm, I wrapped the egg up long ways with 6 skewers and plastic wrap. You want to try and space the skewers around the egg as evenly as possible. I did some as singles and some as doubles with two eggs, and the single egg turned out better, so my tip is to wrap each egg individually for the most control and best spacing possible.

Once the egg is wrapped with the skewers held in place by the plastic wrap, we added elastics to each end, to hold the skewers in place tightly. I did have a couple eggs where the skewer dug into the egg and broke them, so remember that you want the skewers to be held in place firmly, but not for the elastics to be so tight that they break the egg.
Once the egg is bundled up, place it in the fridge over night or for a few hours. Once you remove the skewers and plastic wrap the egg should be flowered shaped when you slice it in half. You will also need to slice a very small slice off of the end, so thte egg will sit nicely on a plate.
Use the tip of knife to carefully remove the yolks and make your favourite devilled egg recipe. We used six eggs, 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon mustard, and salt and pepper. Then we piped the filling into the egg halves.
They really looked great, and were a real hit at the party. You can make this dish a day ahead of time, and store in the refrigerator until right before serving.
Daisy Brushetta
This easy appetizer was so delicious, easy to make and fit our theme perfectly.

We started out by roasting some yellow cherry tomatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper at 350 for about 20 min. until they start to burst.
To make the daisy bruschetta, toast some good bread, cut it out with a flower cookie cutter, spread with boursin cheese, and top with the roasted yellow tomato in the center.
We arranged the daisy brushettas with chive stems and basil leaves and they look so cute for our daisy theme.
Daisy Pizza
We also made a quick and easy daisy themed pizza, using pesto, chicken, corn, yellow tomatoes and bocconcini cheese. It was a really yummy combination of flavors and looks so cute.

We started with premade dough and spread it with pesto. Then we add flowers made of rotisserie chicken and canned corn, and bocconcini cheese and yellow cherry tomatoes. Bake in a 400 for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the dough is cooked.
You could also make a more traditional pizza with tomato sauces, and cheese and tomato flowers. We thought the pesto with chicken and corn was a nice addition.
Serve this hot or even at room temperature for a picnic.
Drinks
Lemonade was the perfect drink for our daisy themed picnic party. As a special touch we added camomile flowers to the drinks. These would also be really fun frozen into ice cubes.

Daisy Themed Sweets

Daisy Cake
The star of the show was the daisy themed cake. I love our vintage style cake with the fondant daisy details.

We made a simple white cake with a cake mix, and then my daughter iced it with Swiss meringue, and vintage style details, in white and yellow.
The finishing touch was the fondant daisies. We found a fondant cutter at a cake decorating supply store, and my daughter made simple homemade marshmallow fondant. These were the perfect finishing touch to our cake and tasted delicious too, like marshmallows.
The cake was the perfect centerpiece for the party table too.

Daisy Tarts
We also made some simple daisy inspired tarts.

We used premade pastry and cut them out with a daisy cookie cutter. We fit them into a mini muffin tray and blind baked them. Once they're cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
We filled ours with custard and apricot jam. You can also make them with lemon curd.
They're an easy and delicious daisy dessert.
Sugar Cookies
Lastly, we made some sugar cookies.

Use your favourite sugar cookie recipe or take the short cut of using premade dough. We baked circle cookies, and then used a buttercream icing to pipe layered daisies with yellow centers.
I was lucky to have my daughter's help for these as well.

This daisy themed party came together with just a few charming touches—fresh flowers, cheerful yellow and white details, and the cutest daisy-inspired food. Whether you're planning a summer birthday, a garden shower, or just a sweet seasonal picnic, this theme is simple, affordable, and picture-perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Make your cake, cookies, and tart shells the day before. Just fill the tart shells the day of the party. Also pre-make your deviled eggs, and roast the cherry tomatoes. If you're serving the pizza at room temperature, you can make it ahead of time too. I made the daisy pizza and daisy bruschetta toasts right before serving.
I got it at Michaels craft store, but look for similar at a fabric store, or online.
