Mustache Party
Mustache Party: Ist birthday party Mustache Bash Little Man themed party full of mustache details and ideas for food, decor, and party favours.

I had the great pleasure of attending my friend Alexander’s first birthday a little while ago, it was a “Mustache Bash” and I thought you’d love to see all the fun details from this adorable mustache party. Nice to see a boy’s party around here for a change? Yeah, me too. 😉
Mustache Party Decor
Alex’s mom Katie, set it all up in the backyard. I loved the Birthday banner, made with Alexander’s Grandpa’s ties, he just retired and was more than happy to contribute. 😉
The party colour scheme was black and white and worked so well with the mustache, little man theme. I loved the main focal point dessert table.
Guests were invited to grab a mustache to wear for the party.
Katie picked up the stick-on ones, and finger tattoos at Party City. Here she is with one of the finger tattoos -so cute.
I kind of loved Alexander’s Dad’s mustache the best though!
For those of us who couldn’t grow one just for the party there were always stickers. Some people can just make anything look good. 😉
Mustache Party Food
Katie made a great dinner for everyone, of Little Manwiches. They were delicious, and so perfect for a large party crowd.
She made pulled pork in the slow-cooker and offered lots of different bbq sauces, and buns for guests to make their own sandwich.
There were also Bowties -Pasta Salad, and Veggie Stix.
I loved the tie napkins Katie made -such a cute detail. She just folded regular black napkins and secured with a dab of glue.
Mustache Party Drink Station
And for the drinks, a cute little “wet your whiskers” sign, and regular cups that Katie added mustaches to with a marker. So clever.
Photo Booth
There was also a fun photo both for guests, with some cute props for photos. I love the sign, “Comb on over to the Photo Booth…we mustache you to grab a prop and smile”! Love it.
Here’s the birthday boy with a little top hat.
Mustache Party Dessert Table
Back to the dessert table, full of oh so sweet little treats.
Katie made the cupcakes and decorated them with cute free printables from FunkyTime. She also made the birthday cake. I love how striking the simple black and white is.
Katie found a chocolate mold at Bulk Barn and made the fun mustache chocolate lollipops. So cute here served in a mason jar.
I made some mustache sugar cookies for the party, see how I made them here. Here’s Alex’s auntie modeling one for us.
Party Favours
As parting gifts, Katie made the cutest little “staches” to head home with.
Katie filled the bags with white and black gum balls, mustache bandaids, more tattoos and mustache stickers, and a chocolate lollipop mustache. Katie spotted the little favour bags in the wedding section of the dollar store, and made the labels with more printables from FunkyTime. I love how they turned out.
One last little detail, Katie found the mustache pacifier at Chapters, tastes best when covered in icing. 😉
I had a great time celebrating Alex’s first birthday at the Mustache Bash! With mustache’s all round, life really is a party! Happy Birthday Alexander!
