How To Make Burrito Bowls
Ingredients
- Steak Seasoning
- • 1 tsp chili powder
- • 1 tsp salt
- • ½ tsp ground black pepper
- • ½ tsp onion powder
- • ½ tsp garlic powder
- • ½ tsp paprika
- • ½ tsp cumin
- • ¼ tsp dry oregano
- Steak
- • 4 steaks, about 1 ½ lbs total
- • 2 tbsp oil
- • 1 small onion, sliced
- Pico de Gallo
- • 2 tomatoes cubed
- • ½ large onion diced
- • ¼ cup lime juice
- • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- • ¼ tsp salt
- Burrito Bowls
- • cooked steak
- • 8 servings cooked rice
- • pico de gallo
- • shredded lettuce
- • black beans
- • corn
- • hot pickled peppers
- • black sliced olive
- • sliced green onions
- • cilantro
- • sliced avocado
- • salsa
- • sour cream
- • hot sauce
Instructions
- To make the steak seasoning, combine all the ingredients together.
- Slice the steak into ¼ inch strips. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. Combine steak strips, steak seasoning, and onion and cook for about 5 minutes, or until rare to well done, depending on your personal preference.
- Next, to make the pico de gallo, combine all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Now to assemble a burrito bowl combine warm cooked rice, cooked steak and shredded lettuce along with any of the other ingredients and enjoy.
